THE RETURN INFORMATION PACKET

Thank you for your commitment to participate in “The Return.” Below is all the information you need for this life-transforming event. 

PREPARATION INFORMATION:

BOOK – You will need to read the book “Fathered by God” by John Eldredge. You can go online and purchase either the book, eBook, or audio version from Amazon.com. Please do this as soon as possible, as you will need to read the entire book before attending The Return.

CORRESPONDENCE – All correspondence should be sent to info@andrizoman.com.

FINAL PAYMENT – As a participant, you are responsible for paying the remaining balance. The final payment is due no later than one week before your departure.

DEVOTIONALS – Fifteen days out, you will receive “Daily Devotionals” leading up to your event, so make sure you read those daily. Check your email and spam folders to be sure you have received them and it’s not going to junk or spam.

ITEMS TO BRING – In order to ensure a successful event, please review the following as it contains everything you will need to help prepare you for The Return. Space is limited, so bring only one suitcase or bag. Include the following items.

  • Bible (DO NOT rely on your mobile device) 
  • Journal    
  • Pens/Pencils
  • Comfortable clothes and shoes for inside    
  • Weather-appropriate clothing (check the forecast) for outside  
  • Hiking boots and house shoes 
  • Swim trunks and pool towel    
  • Water bottle to refill during the event (we will supply bottled water for certain activities)     
  • Backpack (in addition to 1 bag)     
  • Wrist Watch (DO NOT rely on your mobile phone)    
  • Alarm clock (DO NOT rely on your mobile phone)     
  • Bug spray/medicine for insect bites/Tecnu Wash or Cortaid poison ivy wash      
  • Toiletries (shampoo, deodorant, soap, etc.)     
  • Small flashlight   
  • Earplugs (snorers)     
  • Sunscreen lotion, chapstick, etc.     
  • Plastic rain poncho (again, check the weather forecast)     
  • Appropriate medication for headaches, allergies, etc

ITEMS NOT TO BRING – Please do not bring the following items to the event:   

  • Alcohol or illegal substances of any kind
  • Laptop Computers, Tablets, Smartwatches, or other electronic entertainment devices     
  • Firearms or ammunition of any kind     

DAY OF ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS  – We make the most of every moment of the event and each activity is specifically scheduled. Please arrive on time.

Please arrive at the Lakeview Conference Center no later than 4:00pm on the first day of your event. Signage will direct you to the specific site of The Return event once you come through the entrace. Once you arrive, you will need to check-in with the event coordinator. While we are waiting for everyone to arrive, feel free to introduce yourself to the Staff and other participants that will be attending The Return.

Food - If you would like to bring your favorite snacks, you are welcome to do so, although food and snacks are provided. ANY food allergies or special dietary needs should have been listed on your registration form. If you neglected to do so, please email us at info@andrizoman.com.

Fasting - We will have a day of fasting during The Return. If you are concerned about the fast day and how it may affect you physically, please consult your doctor. You can begin preparing for that day now by reducing your carb intake and increasing your protein. Also, begin to eliminate caffeine from your diet. You will not have any caffeine on the day of the fast (coffee is provided throughout the rest of the event). Lack of caffeine can cause MAJOR headaches. We cannot stress this enough! You may also want to try a day of fasting before you attend The Return. Fasting is a spiritual discipline. You need to prepare your heart as well as your body. Romans 1:20 tells us that the character of God is clearly seen in what He has made; therefore, the day of fasting will be experienced entirely outdoors (moderate physical exertion may be required). Dress appropriately for the local weather and time of year. Rain gear is highly recommended if the forecast is calling for rain.  

Mobile Phones - You will be asked to turn off your cell phone and put it away for the duration of the event. Please let your family members know that you will not be talking to them again until Sunday when the event is over. It’s common for things to be stirred up back home (we‘ve seen it happen) to keep you distracted while you are trying to hear from the Father. If there is an emergency, ask your family to call 469-426-1820 and leave a message. Although our staff are in sessions with the participants, this number will be checked regularly. They may also call the office of Lakeview Conference Center at 903-538-2711.

Cancellation by Registrant – All payments received are non-refundable but are transferable up to 45 days prior to the [Event Begins] date shown on the event detail webpage. You may transfer payment towards another event or to another person, however, you will be charged a $50 transfer fee. At 45 days prior to the [Event Begins] date, all payments received are non-transferable and non-refundable as our office will have reserved lodging, staffing, and other resources for the event based on your registration.

Cancellation by Andrizo Ministries– If the event is made impossible by war, earthquake, fire, strike, sickness, accident, epidemic, act of government, its agencies or officers, or any other legitimate cause beyond our control, Andrizo Ministries will cancel the event. You may transfer your credit to another upcoming event, you may leave your credit on your account until you are ready to register, or you may request a refund. Andrizo Ministries (The Return) is not responsible for any fees or related costs due to travel, airfare, work, etc.
