Wars and Rumors of Wars

If you are like me, when I listen to all that’s happening around the world, I can’t help but ask, “Are these the end times?” Recently, a friend of mine was talking about all that was going on and said we better get ready and start stocking up; I looked at him and said, “I’m ready.” What is happening is crazy. One must limit how much one hears because it can get frustrating and depressing. But here is something to encourage you. When Jesus was talking in Matthew 24, he said, “People of God, don’t be moved by wars or rumors of wars, or pestilence or earthquakes or anything you see on the news. He said let me give you the answer now of when I will return.

When this Gospel of the kingdom is preached in al the world for a witness to every nation, then the end will come.”

Do you know why I love this statement so much? As a young man, I heard preaching that would make me mad. The reason was that my vision of Jesus was something above Superman and Batman and way beyond. I heard so much defeatist preaching that it seemed to me that the end of time was in the hands of the Russians or China or the Middle East or somebody that was going to do all this bad stuff, and we were going to get snatched by the hair of our chinny chin chin! It seemed like a beat-up, broken-down Church that couldn’t fight back and was getting out of here.

I didn’t want to relate to that kind of Church.

Then I read Matthew 24:14, where Jesus said - the sign of my coming is not going to be what army is marching where, who has invaded what country, or what kind of bomb somebody has, don’t be moved by that. You have something to do with when I come again because when the Gospel of the kingdom is preached in all the world, the end will come. The Russians, China, or the Middle East don’t hold the key to the end. The Democrats and Republicans don’t hold the key to the end. The United Nations doesn’t hold the key to the end. The Church holds the key to the end because when the Church preaches the Gospel to the whole world for a witness, then the

end shall come. So, God’s eyes are not on marching armies. God’s eyes are on the Church. God says, “Church, when you preach the Gospel of the Kingdom to the whole earth, the end will come.” Notice Jesus didn’t say if you preach the Gospel, but when you preach the Gospel!

Men, we have a mandate to spread the Gospel to the world, and that mission will come under opposition. But that’s ok because, as we learned at The Awakening, we win! Read the back of the book! What we need is warriors of God! Andrizo men who will rise, fight, and live this Gospel out for the glory of God! This is precisely what is happening here at Andrizo Ministry headquarters. We anticipate holding several events this year throughout the nation and being in several countries conducting Returns and Men’s Rallies in unprecedented ways. We just returned from Africa and are heading back to Brazil next month. We would love for you to partner with us in spreading the freedom of Christ to men throughout the world and, in doing so, speed up the coming of the Lord. Amen!
